A Taste of Africa in Los Angeles-At the Los Angeles gallery, textiles, baskets, sculpture, antique and modern tribal artifacts, along with furniture and ceramics by leading South African craftspeople, reflect the country's rich diversity. Of the graphic wire baskets found throughtout, Donna Livingston remarks, "They beg to be displayed on wall as decorative art." Livingston describes Phases Africa as, "edgy, inspirational, ethnic and contemporary."
