DLD 2020 Wrap-Up!

COVID-19 has turned the world upside down. How we live and interact with each other, how we work and communicate, how we move around and travel. Every aspect of our lives has been affected. Decisions made now and in the coming months will be some of the most important made in generations. They will affect people all around the world for years to come.

Since we specialize in residential interior design, opportunities came to us because people are staying at home. They realized they needed to upgrade their home which is their most important asset. Through Zoom, we were able to consult on paint colors, layouts, and material selections. We are very efficient in CAD drawings.

Here are a list of things that I have done this year:

  1. New Interior Designer Projects

  2. Luxe magazine feature (Dec/January feature)

  3. E-commerce business

2. Launch of homedecorbydonna.com

We have worked diligently to curate 500 quality items and I am so happy to be able to share this line with you. With many people staying-at-home during this pandemic, what better way to occupy your time than by redecorating your home. Visit www.homedecorbydonna.com – you’ll find something you like!

3. Luxe Magazine Feature

Donna Livingston Design is being featured in Luxe Magazine. We are so excited to be highlighted in Luxe Magazine. We will be featured in the December/January edition highlighting my favorite luxury interior design project.

Although this pandemic has taken its toll in many areas in our life, we are still keeping busy and finding ways to uplift our spirits. This year, I have found myself taking on new hobbies such as hiking and cooking. I have also been redecorating my own home. There is always room for home improvement and I find that now is the perfect time to do it.

One of my expertise is redesigning kitchens. Before the kitchen was renovated, it had dark wood doors with lowered shelving, creating a claustrophobic ambience. My clients wanted something bright and airy therefore we collaborated on ideas and made a small kitchen feel big and spacious.

Renovating doesn’t have to be scary. With the right team, you can achieve your dream interior space. After being in Architectural Digest 4 times, I provide successful interior decorating services and built close relations with my clients. We have an established interior design firm and we offer Zoom consultations which is helpful in establishing material selection, paint colors and home products. Feel free to reach out for a home evaluation, or even just to chat.
